May 24 — Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway
was a big buyer of Chubb Corporation shares
from February through April at prices below $60
a share. But the Omaha investor may now be
selling some of that position with the stock in the
mid-seventies. That's the word I'm getting from
trading sources who estimate Berkshire
purchased between 2.5 and 5 million shares of
Chubb — all prior to the stock's run from $60 to
$75 in May.
