Believe it or not that is NOT good news... If there is bad news there is no one out there that will buy as it falls if there is no profit taking by the shorts - therefore no support from the shorter and a free fall could happen... Also if there is good news then there is no panic buying from the shorts either.. Either way having NO SHORT POSITION at all is NOT GOOD... It only shows that people are optimistic They feel the downside potential is not worth the upside risk for what that is worth. Stock market crashes have happened historically when short positions are at there lowest. Brian
