Not quite sure what you're getting at. Are you saying aol is overvalued? Are you saying the market is going to pieces. Are you suggesting you are short aol??

<<I cannot believe that this "devaluation" is simply the result of nonspecific responses to the question of broadband.>>

It's not! It's a combination of things.

1) Worries over inflation and thus higher rates always drill high p/e
stocks first.

2) The nasdaq and tech sector as a whole are being sold off

3) No stock goes straight up

Keep some powder dry!! If the Fed does not raise rates ( and I don't think they will) you may have a real opportunity to pick up some shares at a bargain price as compared with levels 2 months ago.

David, AOL is selling off in tandem with all the major internets and the major tech companies in general. In fact it is holding up fairly well relative to Yahoo and Amazon. This is the third trip to the 120 range. We appear to be stuck in the range of 120-140. Tomorrow should tell the story in greater detail. Lot's of support at the 120 area. I don't think broadband has anything to do with this story right now.

Good Luck,
Tom
