"Can anybody see an analogy here? " No, not really. But I generally not place much value in the "comments" of newly-hired people, as contained in a company-written news release. These are typically written by PR counsel, and are designed to make the company look good. After all, can you imagine somebody who just got hired at his next job and yet saying, "Well, this company is really a crock, but I needed a job so I'll stick around for a couple weeks and hope I can bail out before the SEC comes knocking"? Note: this is an example only, and I am not trying to start any rumors about this company or an other company. I'm a little disappointed in Jos Charles analyst for even including it in his write-up.
