Excellent.

But instead of a 1,000 shares each how about an equal monetary value, say $100,000 in each. That way it won't be overweighted in the higher priced issues.

You probably need to track them over a longer period than 3 months, as this was a recommendation based on Y2K concerns. Also, are you going to use their opening price of today or their closing price as your reference point?

Added Bank Boston (BKB), which it was also downgraded.... "to a hold"... but not to a Sell.
