Excellent. But instead of a 1,000 shares each how about an equal monetary value, say $100,000 in each. That way it won't be overweighted in the higher priced issues.

You probably need to track them over a longer period than 3 months, as this was a recommendation based on Y2K concerns. Also, are you going to use their opening price of today or their closing price as your reference point?
