spoke to a 3G committeeman today. He stated they'll cave to Q's desire to increase total handset royalties from 5% to about 10% (shared among all players relative to importance). Q is participating by protesting. ERICY and other ETSI members, he says, doesn't want another dog fight on their hands and will cave to Q - already in the works according to him. He doesn't work for Q, so he's not biased in this regard
