Yes, the sun will rise, flowers will blossom, and we will be a day wiser. We will look at strangers, wondering if we should say "Hi", run our errands, and wonder about our lives. And I hope that is enough for all of us. This is not a drill. It's our lives. There's more to it than P&L, whether CMGI goes up or down, and the net liquidating values of our portfolios. Let me offer this one anecdote. On 4/12/99 I posted on another thread that I had hit my all time high. I had seen my net worth increase an incredible 20-fold over the last 18 months. Alas, that was the seal of fate. I am now down perhaps 50% (I don't really want to calculate now ;<). At any rate, Uncle Sam (taxes) and the fabulous fundamentals of the inets both force me to focus on the long term. It's still a great country <g>.
