This site has a series of short articles this week on video servers. broadcastingcable.com Market opportunity - references a Frost & Sullivan report that the hardware value of broadcast, cable, internet, and distance learning video server sales was $466m for 1998. FCC's mandate for digital broadcasting is causing an explosion in demand. Concerning Seachange's broadcast system: "Both Fox and CBS networks are seriously looking at Seachange's products". ITV product: Seachange will be commercially deploying VOD systems at 6 different MSO's in 1999.
