Most "new era" companies are founded and pimped on the idea that they will never make a profit. ("profit" makes no sense in a communist economic system) Americans are pooling their resources and sending bucketloads of cash to these "new era" companies, so that they can continue to afford to give away products and services. (voluntary redistribution of wealth)
