The psychology of making investment choices certainly makes it hard to do the right thing. It is hard to buy when things look bad and hard to sell when things look so bullish. But Bob has done a good job of preparing his audience by his extended discussions of valuations. It certainly doesn't seem like this market has much upside, making it easier to sell if so guided. (My trigger finger is poised.)

I hope the same psychology doesn't work against Bob making the call when his indicators cross over. Just as it will be hard for listeners to follow his advice, if he has any reservations, I will bet it will be gut-wrenching for him to put his reputation on the line by issuing a sell signal that goes against the consensus view.
