My personal WAGS are $218 and $82.

Intel is selling oodles of Celerons which bring the ASP down and oodles of XEONS which bring it up. PII volume going down and PIII volume going up probably wash each other out. On balance a slight decrease from the previous $227 I read somewhere.

On the AMD side, the bottom is falling out of the low MHz "value" segment, but they are finally getting some respectable MHz out of their plant. But their business plan is still almost the dictionary definition of risky. On balance I predict a tiny bounce, up from $79 but way below the $100 they defined as break even.

Kal Kan - Re: "OK, what is your prediction on Intel and AMD ASPs for Q2? I predict $205 and $95."

My guess - Intel $218.

AMD - $82.

AMD will post a $48 million loss.
