For what it's worth:

I shorted this monster along with Glen last summer when it ran from 40 to 80 in about 30 days. I then watched it go to 145 before coming back. It corrected to 65 interday and closed at 80 slightly above my entry point. I was bullheaded, convinced that I was right, and I elected to remain short, and watched it rock back to 100+. Began box trading like Jan, and limiited further downside exposure until the Blodget debacle and watched it shoot to 240. Finally covered on Dec 30.

Tonight, for the first time in a very long time, I will sleep with an overnight long position. (Bought back in late today at 118). If anything, I have developed a very healthy respect for the company's ability to perform, both in the business place and the market. I'm banking on BKS's ipo to encourage the empire to srike back. So like Anakin Skywalker, I have come to the dark side along with the Syth Master himself William Harmond, better known as Senator Palatin.

I predict within 6 months, investors will be suing Amazon for executive misrepresentation of the viability of AMZN.

;-)

KIS, please do come back and visit when AMZN trades at $200 again, be it in six months or a year...

Randy

Star Wars/Amazon Connection?
Saw the movie this weekend: Was struck with the similarities of light vs darkness
in trading Amzn.

Consider:

Jeff Bezos Darth Sidious
Joy Covey Darth Maul
Mary Meeker Darth Vader
Kliener Perkins Sith Council
Glenn D. Rudolph Obi Wan Kenobi
Jan Crawley Queen Amidala
H James Morris Mace Windu
Bald Man from Mars Jar Jar Binks
William Harmond Senator Palpatine
Olu Emulio Himself (Lucas missed the best name of all)
Keep It Simple Jabba the Hut

This is just a first draft. Suggestions are welcome

(Glenn, if you wanted to know how AMZN could go bankrupt with all that cash in the
bank- the answer is that the cash will be taken away)

KIS,

I do not need answers on this issue. However, the cash will not be taken away. It is being spent very very quickly.
