The system installation has been carried out by NDS' post-sales technical service team who have worked closely with Sirti/Stream, the systems integrators for the project. The NDS system is ready one week earlier than the project schedule and contract anticipated. NDS has provided Sirti/Stream with an MPEG -2 Digital Platform for DVB services for Madritel. The contract for 12 multiplexes, using NDS' latest compression products for cable, was won from Sirti/Stream who are both controlled by the Telecom Italia Group.
