Yes, but Gottfried, that still doesn't mean that they actually made money in drive bizz. They had growth in the PC business, but they still lost money, revenue growth or no. Why not the drive business? Anyway, it depends on how they allocated funds. Perhaps they lost money in the PC business because their drive boys are charging their PC boys too much for their drives.

These in-house divisions are always dicey; I know, I used to manage one, and I can tell you that everyone alwaysplays games with them, perhaps especially if there is pressure to be a profit center rather than just support, or if there is any question about whether the division is "worth" it or if it would be better to just get the work done independently without the bother.
