Both the income and the loss was exactly in line with earning as filed with the SEC in the prospectus for the IPO. Given that the analysts whose earnings are being counted were the underwriters, and given that the IPO was only a month ago - it would have been very odd if the earnings were different from the expectations. So no surprises either way! The share price forward-looking stuff will have to be in the announcements about contract wins and the guidance given during the CC.
