John: Thanks for your thoughts. Reading between the lines it seems that you are prepared for some short-term weakness. It seems to me that because the earnings held no surprises and given that the CC was optimistic, and assuming the underwiters will reiterate their buy ratings, there is nothing to depress the stock price except disappointment that the margins did not contain some blockbuster surprise, which was not only unlikely but would have raised some eyebrows in the SEC. But if the current downturn in internet stocks persists in the next few days it may be difficult for it to recover some of its recent losses. On the positive side, there may be some new coverage from analysts who were not underwriters, and perhaps announcements of new business. Hopefully, the general weakness in internet related stocks will also dissipate soon, maybe tomorrow.
