Utility.com Chooses Silknet Software for Customer Relationship Management

MANCHESTER, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 1999--Silknet Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:SILK - news), today announced that Utility.com has purchased Silknet eService(tm), Silknet's Web-based customer service software solution, to manage relationships with customers and partners and to provide Internet-based customer self-service. Utility.com is an online company that provides residents and businesses with a quick and easy way to buy, track and manage energy via the Internet. No terms were disclosed.
