Suppose the CY buyout from Telus rumour heard on Stockhouse is true Robert, back in 1997 I believe CY was in discussions with B.C. Tel, I am not sure what those discussions involved, BUT with the recent merging of BC TEl and Telus maybe something has developed. Can you provide a link to the stockhouse rumor?

re : stockhouse rumor things to think about 1. beware..no inside buying, does not suggest too much substance to that post. Further it was only one post,from one person-who did not back up the claim with any evidence of any kind. (don't get me wrong, I REALLY hope it is fact) If it is true, the lower than expected selling price, could have been negotiated earlier in the dealings and be locked into place. I predict,(again..if it is true), that Telus had a detailed plan together coming into any dealings. We will know early tomorrow if anything is up, the trades early in the day will not lie I hope I didn't give the impression that I had any inside track when I posted the message leading to the stockhouse.com "rumor" I am hoping this one's true
