Thanks guys for the answer. This is the first time I've seen this kind of spin off. Sounds rather shareholder unfriendly. On the plus side, thanks to the internut overvaluation, BNBN should be worth about $1.4B or about $25 per share. BKS' 40% equity then will be worth $560 or about $8 per share. Investing based on asset values is a very tricky thing though, since the asset values may fluctuate a lot before the market realizes them.
