It's a she and she still has claws. I believe the incident occured this way;

Another cat chased her up a tree. She was so scared she climbed higher than normal and couldn't figure out how to get down. The roof was right there so she just jumped to the roof. Then she really didn't know how to get down. The pine tree is very very close to my bedroom.
When a grabbed her off the roof she smelled of pine tree sap. She has had no desire to go outside lately.LOL

It took me a while to figure all this out in my drugged condition.

Occured is red, I screwed up.
