"Katmai" was the in-house code name for the Pentium /// as well as the 70 new instructions - now called SSE (Streaming SIMD Extensions) - that ar epart of the Pentium /// and follow-on products such as Coppermine.

My assumption is that Katmai Systems refer to Pentium /// based computers/servers.
