THQ Closes Acquisition of Pacific Coast Power & Light

CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 1999--THQ Inc. Nasdaq/NM:THQI) announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of premier game developer Pacific Coast Power & Light Co. (PCP&L), formerly known as Don Traeger Productions, Inc.

PCP&L, located in San Jose, Calif., is now a subsidiary of THQ Inc.

Industry veterans Don Traeger and Dennis Harper will continue to manage PCP&L as president and vice president of product development, respectively, for the leading high-technology game developer of next- generation consoles. Mr. Traeger and Mr. Harper have each signed five-year employment and non-competition agreements.
