jonj,
Discussion of Top line ( Revenue ) and Bottom line ( Earnings ) growth mentioned by the CEO in latest earnings report:

" Going forward, the acquisition of Massachusetts-based Unicore Software is expected to increasingly contribute to Touchstone's top and bottom lines and enable us to access nearly 10 years of aggressive sales experience in both direct and OEM channels. "

Top Line ( Revenue ) Growth:

" Of note, Unicore Software added approximately $400,000 to net revenues in 1999 first quarter "
" Completed acquisition of Unicore on March 10 "
( 31 days in March )
Second quarter - 3 months * $400,000 = $1.2 Million in revenues
( Call the company and ask them how sales of Unicore products are affected by the recent Chernoble virus etc )
TSSW products ( $1,335,198 minus $400,000 ) = $935,198 ( UP From prior TSSW product revenue of between $600,000 and $700,000 )
( Ask the company how many checkit they are selling monthly at their web site. )

What were the revenues reported in the upcoming qtrs?:

2nd qtr - $ 656,000
3rd qtr - $ 749,000
4th qtr - $1,445,000

Bottom Line EPS growth

Company will have a full qtr of increased revenue sales and lower admin expense going fwd. ( One company . . lower overhead . . lower salaries )

Comparison to year ago:
2nd qtr - (0.25)
3rd qtr - (0.12)
4th qtr - (0.03)

Company reported a small profit without the restructuring charge and with higher admin expense and only 21 days of Unicore sales.

Looking forward to the second qtr. . . I am expecting other OEM Deals and new product announcements in the coming months.
