The good Merced news - plus the early Kflop 7 benchmarks which show that a K7 is no better (and possibly quite a bit WORSE ) than a Pentium /// - should help alleviate the nervousness about Intel.

I'm baffled about why you would stick your neck out so far over some obviously inaccurate benchmark scores.

I think an AMD management who was willing to coast in Intel's wake rather than compete head to head would be worth mucho dollars on Intel's valuation.
