I can't seem to log onto E*TRADE this morning. It's probably overloaded with day traders again. Should provide a big bounce in internet stocks from past experience.

OK, Ecoman, so maybe I was a little flippant about selling for all your worth.

It's been a tricky market for both longs and shorts. Harder for the shorts for the most part. Looks like the tide is changing, though. I can't prove it yet, but you won't necessarily make that next 100% gain on the past 500%.

REALLy what I was trying to get was a sample of how many day traders try to short stocks. I hypothesize that the majority (%?) don't. They're too new to the game. What will they do when the market trend turns south? Withdraw, go broke on denial and margin? Easy come. Hard to let go.
