Does anyone have a feel for how Oracle's purchase of Thinking Machines, for the purpose of getting into Data Mining, might affect Sand? From my layman's standpoint it looks like direct competition, even from the solutions standpoint. Is anyone in the database/data- mining business familiar enough with both companies products to give an idea of how they stack up against each other?
