>>>We are estimating 3.03 million subscribers by the end of the June 1999 quarter, up 6.4% over fiscal 1998. For fiscal 2000, we are estimating 4.38 million subscribers, up 44.3% over fiscal 1999.

I think all those estimates...including the ones that Benny and I did a while back will need to be upped in time. For example, that First Union News...they are targeting 1.5 Million by the end of 1999..800,000 more then they have now....and 5 Million by the end of 2000, which works out to about 300,000 each month in the year 2000...or 1,800,000 in the first 6 months of 2000....CheckFrees Fiscal Year End. Wells is already doing 150,000 every 90 days...and Integrion follows that with 250,000 in 4 months.

First Union upped the bar on being aggressive building their On Line Banking Presence....targeting 500 Million dollars towards this channel is huge news for CheckFree....as I expect the others to follow suit in similar fashion shortly, thus increasing the available pool of potential CheckFree bill pay subscribers on a combined Industry basis into the Million a month level if not higher in year 2000.

It's been one thing to build an Internet delivery channel out to customers, and play poke-an-hope they find it....it's another to put a Half a Billion Dollars on it in an effort to grow within the space.

This Stock is way to damm cheap and those targets are way too low if First Union is successful in their execution....IMO.
