<<Nice article Tim- If you finish it they regret the CDMA only because CDMA isn't available everywhere yet.>>

You're right, Tom. I intentionally left the last bit off because I think that what the *masses* get out of the message is, "Unfortunately, the wireless data services rely on Code Division Multiple Access cellular service...". Good example of how a few words can shift the same *fact* from a positive to a negative tone.

I'll have to check into the integration of the PalmPilot functionality into the ThinPhone. Likely someone will post the answer before I get back.

Regards. ...Tim

Tom,
Not sure if anyone answered your question yet?

Isn't the PDQ available with the Thin Phone

The pDQ and Thin Phone are two distinctively different products. The pDQ essentially integrates a wireless phone with a Palm Pilot PDA. Therefore, the pDQ can run any current or future applications written for the Palm OS. However, the larger display and Palm Pilot applications have an adverse effect on standby times.

The Thin Phone does not use or support the Palm OS, although it will offer a limited subset of pDQ like functionality such as wireless data.
