Starfield Resources Inc. Announces Geophysics Defines Large New
Anomalies Ferguson Lake, Nunavut, Canada Pt-Pd-Ni-Cu-Co Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 1999-- Starfield Resources (ASE: SRU. - news) UTEM
Electromagnetic and Magnetometer geophysical surveys are continuing at Starfield's Nunavut Territory Ferguson Lake property.
This survey coverage has traced the Main Zone for more than 7 kilometers, extending out from the known deposit explored in the 1950's by Inco. A resource was
estimated at that time to contain 6.4 million tons grading 0.87 percent Cu and 0.75 percent Ni within a strike length of 730 meters. Several widely-spaced stepout
holes by Inco (including hole 9483 which intersected 23.9 meters grading 1.26 percent Ni and 1.08 percent Cu) partially traced the zone now being more precisely
defined. Preliminary results from the new geophysical surveys indicate that zones of very high conductivities are present, coincident with strongly anomalous magnetic
responses. The survey has also detected new, parallel anomalies. Drilling is currently underway to determine the significance of the conductors.
