ciV, it depends. Generally speaking, confirmations are very fast. For ISLD fills, usually within seconds. I have bought and sold stocks many times in less than a few minutes. However, nothing is guaranteed. I have also had times where I have not received the confirmation of a fill until 5-10 minutes after the fill. This is rare, but it does happen occasionally. IMO, for the pure daytrader, there are likely better choices than Datek. Like all Internet, browser based brokers, Datek can at times be very difficult. Unfortunately, there is no panacea out there yet, and maybe there never will be. Gary
