This announcement is significant in that CPQ's now offering DMT --- the ANSI/ETSI standard modulation --- in addition to their first offering of CAP, I believe from Cisco. Since most telcos are installing DMT, this is a smart move.

Again, as Charlie's noted, until DSL is more widely available, announcements like this are like looking through the pastry store window and not being able to buy.
