Deutsche Bank raises 1999, 2000 oil price outlook

NEW YORK, May 25 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank analyst Michael Young Tuesday raised his forecast for 1999 benchmark West Texas Intermediate oil prices from $14.50 to $16.00 a barrel, and raised earnings estimates for most integrated oil companies.

-- "Our latest oil price forecast change reflects OPEC's ability to actually reduce output in the crucial second quarter, which in turn has supported WTI oil prices in the current $17 per barrel range," Young said in a research report.

-- Young also raised his forecast for 2000 prices from $15.50 a barrel to $17.00 a barrel.
