SPDE - Rande....Wow!
Lesson learned....I tried to play the bid end at 4 5/8, then refused to chase it when the order didn't go through and it began to tick upward. Missed profits hurt almost as bad as idiot losses (of which I have suffered through a few).
Thanks for the recommendation on this momo....please keep them coming, but for the sake of us cheap shavers, beat us over the head with them.
Wes

Rande, great job with the MOMO's. Please keep it up. Question though, where do you look for these? Do you scan press releases of a news service, listen in on daytrader chats, other means? Perhaps if there are several good sources to monitor, a few of us could help you out with the scouting.

Rande- Nice call...

I did not participate, but I have been monitoring.

I played efax and ahwy which were nice momentum plays that lasted about 2-3 days. Lately, the momentum plays I have seen have been lasting for about a day... the entry window is narrow as a result of the weak market, but this might also be because the recent momentum plays I have seen have been in the BB area.

HLTH was also a nice non-BB momentum play, but it too fizzled out very quickly and lasted for a little over a day. I think in a more short-term bullish market the internet health angle could cause momentum in many stocks, but the weak market on top of an upcoming three day weekend seems to have a stronger influence.

Just my opinion, and thanx for all your work. (Definitely keep em coming!)

Jon :)
