Pete, All Thornley's 40 Million Re: my The 40 million ASIC's figure mentioned by Thornley was total units shipped to March 31,1999 (ie. since day one), not calendar or fiscal year. and your I thought I heard Thornley say they expect to ship 40 million ASICs this year Looks like we both heard it wrong. Julie Cunningham at QCOM IR reports that Tony was referring to "40 million phones will be sold in this calendar year (not ASIC's)." I presume this means worldwide, cdma phones. Just goes to show we all sort of hear things differently. Best regards, Jim
