The latest I've heard about DRAMs is that the next quarter or two is likely to see bloody competition for market share. The companies left standing after that should do well at the end of this year and in 2000 and beyond. Everyone seems to expect both Micron and Samsung to be among the survivors, but opinions vary about the other players, particularly the Japanese.
