Well I sold my SUNW Jun 55 puts today. Probably not a wise decision given the tone of the market, but the selling has to stop sometime.

Regards

Alok

Regarding set-tops/handhelds/etc I see it as a new market with some over-lap to the PC market. Set-tops are for the market segment that have no real need for a PC (who probably would never buy one anyways) but would like net access. Handheld's are for people that want a connectivity solution that compliments their home/work office PC or for access to a specialized information service. I don't know anyone who would toss away their PC running 95/NT for a Palm VII or a set-top ; at least not yet.

The big 3 may suffer from PC workstations, as the PC iron vendors more agressively target the UNIX workstation market due to eroding margins on the low end. Linux though may backfire on the big 3 as UNIX shops will tend to lean to Linux because of similarities rather than MSFT shops.

Cheers
James
