Insider Trading Commercials Air in New York Metro Area

HAUPPAUGE, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 1999--Residents of the New York Metro are will soon be able to view Insider Trading television commercials on their local CNBC cable stations.

PanAmerican BanCorp, Inc. (OTC:BB PABN) and Insider Trading announced today that a new flight of Insider Trading advertising would launch the week of May 10, 1999 on local CNBC affiliate stations in the New York Metro area, including Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Nassau and Suffolk counties. The television commercial is slated to run throughout the year on local CNBC cable affiliates and can also be viewed on the Insider Trading web site, insider-trading.net.

The television commercial introduces viewers to Insider Trading's state-of-the art trading system, which offers sophisticated day traders distinct advantages previously available only to a select few on Wall Street's trading desks. Insider Trading offers active day traders a professional trading environment, access to streaming real time Level II Market Maker and Exchange data interfaced with the split second execution system of ECN (Electronic Communications Network), and access to the entire Island ECN book. Insider Trading also provides unlimited access to real time quotes, charts, time and sales, news, historical data and tickers.

In anticipation of the expected response, Insider Trading has expanded their ''Trader Support'' team who will assist new users with the Insider Trading system. Trader Support will introduce new users to the software, assist in training and provide technical support both on and off the floor. There are Trader Support teams on call 8am-5pm in both Insider Trading locations: Garden City, New York, and Boca Raton, Florida.

Roof will lead two breakout sessions at Microsoft's seventh annual Tech Ed: Developing Enterprise Applications for Windows® CE using Visual Basic® for Windows CE, and Porting Desktop Applications to Windows® CE. Roof is also the noted author of Visual Basic Window® CE Programming by Wrox Press, and the techological mastermind behind DigiBill(TM), a Windows CE -based healthcare claims processing tool developed by HealthWyz Technologies, Inc.

Microsoft Tech Ed 99, running from May 21-28, is a conference for software developers who create and manage applications for the Windows platform with Microsoft development tools. Ken Christian of FirstStates Financial Services Corp. was a honored speaker at the 1999 Robert Morris Association Senior Credit Policy Officers credit forum at the Conshohocken, PA Marriott on May 20th and 21st.

The Robert Morris Association (RMA), is a national organization primarily made up of commercial bankers from all 50 states. The Senior Policy Forum is an annual event that attracts Chief Lending Officers, Bank Presidents and senior level management from large national banking firms, as well as small community banks.

This year, Mr. Christian was asked to talk about Risk Management and how to choose a risk management vendor. Mr. Christian has lectured at past RMA events, most recently addressing line managers regarding empirically derived scoring methodology for small business and commercial loans.

Mr. Christian is a 29 year veteran of commerical banking, and was previously the Chief Retail Credit Risk and Policy Officer for a $50 billion super-regional bank headquartered in Philadelphia, PA.
