Jim S,>>>I have lots of venom for the traitor in the White House who allowed, if not encouraged, this transfer of technology; IMO, he deserves at least what the Rosenbergs got. <<<

I am not a big fan of this President. I was for Impeachment. Having said that, I do not think he is a traitor. If he received cash contributions for his campaign from interest groups, I doubt these interest groups could count on him delivering anything. I think a lot of these interest groups got nothing more than their pictures taken in the Whitehouse and then using these photos to fool their friends and colleagues into thinking they have important access.

The Cox Report I believe should serve the purpose to insure that our tax supported research is taken seriously and protected from theft. We are not a Mickey Mouse country.

However, there are going to be people that will use this report for other purposes:

1. The newsmedia will play up the sensationalism of "Chinese Espionage" and provide hundreds of hours of "special coverage". All the news anchors will have done a personal calculus and determine that bashing China will be good for popularity.

2. Super Patriots will want to use this to define patriotism, promote protectionist trade practises, and proclaim different levels of citizenship. My blood is blue-er than yours. I am more American than you, etc. They will try to throw up a new "Iron Curtain".

3. Racists will have a field day.

Is it a coincidence that the NASD was in plus territory before the Commission presented its findings during a Press conference today and than see the Index crashing afterwards.

Unless some fairly intelligent people come forward and put a stop to this spiraling crazy atmosphere, the world economy may be at risk.

I agree with you Jim, traitor is the best word that describes our current occupant in the White House, and this will become much more obvious in the fullness of time. Yogi
