Ben, I am sure there are legal reasons for this odd occurence. However, the real reason is politics. There is no such thing as dumping within the borders of our country. Therefore, Amazon can do it because they are American. For the same reason, Micron Tech can lead the DRAM industry's price cuts, but when the Taiwanese match them, they are dumping. It is dumb, but that is about the only thing that has kept MU alive over the years.
