Thank you for your well reasoned review.

I too find the facts underwhelming. What I find infuriating is the drivel that comes over the news. On the front page of the San Jose Murky News this AM was a smiling Cox stating that he wanted to keep politics out of this investigation.

Wow.

To me it has been nothing but. I too read this report and was underwhelmed. So how can two people read the same thing and get two entirely different interpretations? Politics. I see Cox as the modern day Senator McCarthy.

The bigger issue here is how it is affecting exports now. Satellite manufacturers can't even send Canadian parts back to Canada, or French parts back to France under the current climate until State has taken their sweet time burning incense over the license application. Forget NAFTA or NATO. What we have here is going to cost jobs as business starts going overseas. In fact it has already happened. I know of one contract that was no bid because of fears of license hassles.

I read it too, and I agree. Not much there. It seemed like they are setting up Wah Lim to take a fall. If the details as presented in this report are factual, that may be the correct course of action. BUT, knowing our government, the facts are not likely correct.
