Greg, Altris, given their long background in document imaging and CAD, would have had less need (than say a PC DOCS or DCTM) for a full text index and retrieval capability. It would be worth checking to see if they offer that functionality in EB - partly to continue your due dilligence on Altris and partly to check out the VRTY market and its competitors. But now, today, for Altris -- as far as full text index and retrieval, and its bigger brother, knowledge management (meaning topic clustering, people profiling, etc), I feel it is a must have going forward in EB.
