You're welcome, Z. Very perceptive, what you say.

I've read the U.S. Financial Services Act (its latest incarnation), and it does contain a provision that appears to facilitate capital investment in foreign enterprises. I say "appears" because I haven't had the time to assimilate all the provisions.

The international banking community offers a variety of products that do facilitate the flow of liquidity in this direction; but, being a dyed-in-the-wool foreign markets investor, I would very much like an equal chance in the opposite direction. The recent entry to the U.S. market of HSBC and the ongoing efforts of Grupo Santander may provide just such an opportunity in the not too distant future.

It's all very interesting.

Here's hoping.
