Go2Net GNET's Jill Munden Jill@Go2net.com is critical of my posts, threads 6160 and 6161 (to view them enter them in the reply box in the upper right hand corner, you can do this, and hit enter). Did anyone else not like the info I supplied on Paul Allen, (whom I respect, being an early GNET investor)? Or did anyone get upset at my comparison to Navidec NVDC, and the news which I predicted correctly on their spinoff? NVDC did spinoff uswheels.com as driveoff.com see the May 25, 1999 early morning news. see also infobeat.com Most of you on this thread, I think, know the connection, but if I am wrong for grouping this info, as Jill Munden says was "Off Topic" of navidec, I apologize...what are everyone thoughts on this, especially since we all know of the JAVA connection between G02Net and Navidec, and we are seeing Go2Net on a M&A buying spree lately? What is your thoughts on how close each thread needs to be "on topic" to be "off topic", I do not want to get slammed or flamed, but I also want to hear tips and news and advice and discussion ideas too. Or is Silicon Investor [SI] sonehow geared to focus on Go2Net threads [since Go2net owns Silicon investor SI] or focus on threads about Paul Allen (who incidentally I think was portrayed as the hero in the move "Pirates of Silicon Valley" I just saw again on TNT 2 nights ago. Also, if we get an e-mail off this thread, and want to bring the new info and new NEWS into the thread, who thinks thats off topic? I sincerely want to do netiquette, and I think we can all benefit from stating what we think that should be, such as volunteering cross reference relationships we discovered or heard about involving this very small and tight knit group of silicon investors. I still predict GNET is a hold, and that Paul Allen will get a chance to buy more shares closer to his strike price of $90, say $95? Mostly because I am afraid to sell it, but it has more downside than the true E-Commerce plays such as the E-Cars ABTL, NVDC, or even AOL and AMZN until GNET starts selling more tangible things or info, like through CUST.....anyone following GNET's role in CUST? I am, Truly yours, Crystal ball ...................My predictions are batting 100%....so far!!!!!!!
