Sadly, I don't think Case really cares anymore. If he did, he would have managed these last two months better (e.g., getting into the MediaOne fray, only to get out as a perceived loser; not announcing a split --which is management's seal of "bullishness" towards the future --with the good April earnings; and then devoting all this energy towards having the Government intervene on his behalf, only to be told no by the FCC). Yes, he could have played out the last two months better if he was concerned about preserving Market cap for future acquisitions. MovieFone is a site on the new Palm VII. Why isn't AOL itself on it? Iridium has all these LEO satellites up there going to waste now, for cheap. Why doesn't AOL Anywhere use them? No, Steve just doesn't care. And I'm a long.
