The thing is everybody is playing catch-up with ATI, but ATI doesn't get the PE it deserve being the leader: - Leader in both graphics chip and board in retail and OEM - Leader in low cost PC. - Card in Mac, PC & Sun workstation - Leader in FPD (flat panel) - Best AGP implementation. - First to offer 32-Bit True Color. - First to diverse in Set-top boxes - First to have a 3D chip for Notebook computer (for those who don't know yet the Neomagic chip is 2D only) - Will be market leader in notebook in 2000. JMO - First to have TV and 3D card (All in wonder) - Best DVD implementation by FAR - Biggest research team (heard the Rage 5 will be huge) - First to offer Digital VCR With Real-Time Video Compression - First to support Video Conferencing, Web TV and More! - First to offer PC Video Output to TV and VCR - Only graphic company to have increase sales earning and EPS in the last 5 years AND more (i probably forgot some things), but nobody cares anyway ;-) Regards, MArc
