Richard, Interest in an unnamed "newly formed" company, is not exactly a ton of interest. given the amount of newly formed companies that the proprieters of chip have gone through and the success(?) fo those companies, it is hardly a ringing endorsement. what are the odds that this new company will be a gambling casino, gold mine, or internet venture?<VBG> Mark

The excerpt you posted is as follows The Company retains its interest in certain Federal mineral leases and an option on a fee property contiguous to the Federal leases near Tecopa, CA, and also own two tracts of land used as plant sites in Armagosa, NV and Tecopa, CA. As part of its plan to curtail activity at these plants, the Company intends to dispose of certain surplus equipment at these plants. The Company is currently exploring the possibility of exchanging its interest in these mining properties for shares of a newly formed company. In the first sentence they say they retain certain leases and an option. Of course they do, they already paid for them. The second sentence reitierates that they are getting out of the biz, they are selling whatever they can find a buyer for. But the clincher is the third sentence The Company is currently exploring the possibility of exchanging its interest in these mining properties for shares of a newly formed company. In English, thats we are trying to figure a way to get rid of this stuff since we can't find anyone who will give us real money. If anything it indicates minimal interest in playa clay claims because if there were they would have sold them for cash.
