< Barnes & Noble.com IPOed today,, sick compared to the past.>

BNBN was a pretty large IPO I believe, like 20%. A smaller initial float may help.

< i suggest they will keep 50.5% and grab the cash >

Do you think CPQ will want control (over 50%)? May be better for Alta Vista in dealing with others that CPQ not have control. Regarding cash, do they really need the cash and would they want to disappoint current CPQ shareholders by not spinning off some shares?

Regards - PerryA

"I just hope the I-nut party is not over but ??????"

Over? I can't imagine anything more remote. The internet is still in it's infancy. Many people have jumped on the bandwagon driven by greed, not by understanding. Those are the people who are selling now. Time to buy when the blood is in the street. This is just one more lull in a series of spikes and lulls that will occur over the next 20 years.

It's not too bad if you haven't stuck your margin neck out to far. Have patience and wait it out. Buy when you can.
