I cannot tell you how much I have learned at SI and, perhaps more important, how kind everyone has been to us newcomers. The few who do get out of hand are quickly taken care of, in a subtle way usually, so the 'environment' is one of quality. A few days after joining I visited the Yahoo boards and have never been so shocked; that type of thing gives the internet the bad image so many play to in the papers and other media. I also never went back. KLB - I have used Metacrawler as my home page for the last 2 1/2 years, and think it is the best. (I particularly like the link to Electric Library for research papers.)
