A tent. A free spirit? I admire people who can go to a place with nothing more than they can carry, and know that they have everything they really need that's important right there within themselves. Our so called "needs" can be quite costly at times. Best of luck!

Portland. Last evening I was watched a biography of Tonya Harding.

A few months ago, a man was found living on Martha's Vineyard in an underground home he'd created a bit unlawfully on land that wasn't his. He'd happily and inexpensively lived there for years. Those who later found his home called it a marvel of engineering.

Oops; correction: Last evening I was not watched, rather I watched a biography...Don't ask why I watched it; it was more than enough when it happened!

It's been nice "talking" with you. Now I have to run! :)

Where are you? (The tent, perchance?) All that kindness, then suddenly gone!

Years ago I read Henry Beston's THE OUTERMOST HOUSE, and that's about as close as I'd be able to get to the simple life, were I to so do and chose such an existence. I admire your fortitude. Black bears wander our forest, and I'd want to put as much shelter as possible between myself and their mighty clutches!

Best of luck!
