If there is a market collapse than we could go to 8.
Yet all that has really happened to change sentiment was the 1 negative suprise in the CPI and the Fed reporting a bias toward tightening.
The market was looking for an excuse to sell off. This is all institutional driven with the possible exception of some internet stocks.
This is a healthy short term correction and there is no reason to believe we won't rebound as in the past.
The Fed has acomplished what it wanted to and has in effect already raised interest rates and slowed growth a little.

Thats my take.
